Senior technical leadership is the standard, not the exception

Scott Brandt has spent more than 30 years architecting and delivering distributed systems across telecom, financial services, and enterprise technology — from real-time embedded systems to near-real-time platforms. He previously founded MentorTek, Inc., which provided product development services in FinTech, IoT, and distributed applications, and served as VP of Engineering at Positive Software Systems after a progression of development roles in the telecommunications industry with increasing responsibility, including leadership of development teams. He is a patented inventor, with granted U.S. patents in cloud control platforms and connected-systems data, and a further patent pending.

Scott holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Texas. He founded CompSci out of a conviction that too much of the consulting industry sells reassurance instead of results — a safe name on the invoice, whether or not the promised ROI ever arrives. CompSci is the opposite bet: senior technologists, hands-on delivery, and outcomes a client can measure. It's an approach that has led clients to bring CompSci in to replace some of the world's largest consultancies and cloud professional-services teams in active engagements.

Andrew T. Fausak brings more than four decades of technical experience into practical leadership for clients. At Dell Technologies, where he rose to Senior Principal Engineer in the Office of the CTO, he produced architectures spanning AI, multimodal systems, and computer vision solutions for real-time analysis — deployed with GPU acceleration at global scale — along with openBMC solutions and translators. He also led RDP development worldwide, with teams across the U.S., India, and China: building a fully featured RDP client, a Terminal Server Gateway for RDP clients on embedded platforms without an embedded RPC stack (considered impossible), and a web-based RDP service giving web clients secure browser access to their systems.

Earlier, at Wyse Technology, Andrew led hardware and firmware development from architecture through high-volume production — including graphics ASIC design, a preboot system archiving and imaging tool suite that installed and upgraded images across millions of client devices, and manufacturing test tooling that improved the quality, efficiency, and capacity of the production line. His career began when he cofounded American Insurance Computers as VP of Engineering, writing and modifying BIOS and standing up the company's hardware and maintenance organization — from schematic capture through production — before the company was acquired by Farmers Insurance.

Andrew holds more than 40 U.S. patents, has published research in IEEE, and is a Ph.D. researcher in Vision AI at the University of North Texas, focused on computer vision models for crowd counting and action interpretation.

Blake Donahoo brings more than a decade of experience in software engineering, technology architecture, product development, and technical leadership. Throughout his career, he has designed and delivered complex software platforms, driven engineering initiatives from concept through production, and helped organizations modernize the technology that supports their operations and growth. His experience spans cloud architecture, distributed systems, application and API development, security, infrastructure, data engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Blake is passionate about solving complex problems through thoughtful, practical engineering — translating business needs into secure, scalable, and maintainable systems while balancing technical excellence with operational efficiency and long-term value. At CompSci, he owns technical architecture across the firm's engagements and platforms: setting engineering standards, guiding the highest-complexity designs and builds hands-on, and working closely with product, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure the organization can continue to innovate and scale on secure, durable technology.

Blake is a U.S. Army veteran, having served with the 82nd Airborne Division (2-325) before his honorable discharge in 2018. Outside of work, he keeps a close eye on emerging technologies, exploring advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, fintech, and software architecture.

Leslie Horn brings more than a decade of experience leading complex client delivery, technology implementation, and organizational transformation. Throughout her career, she has built and led multidisciplinary teams, established and scaled a PMO, and developed operating models that connect sales, product, engineering, and delivery. Her experience spans strategic planning, complex technology deployments, custom development, acquisition integration, organizational restructuring, and scaling operations to support business growth and evolving organizational needs.

Leslie is passionate about turning complexity into clarity — translating business objectives into executable strategies and building the processes, systems, and organizational structures needed to deliver them. She combines a collaborative, people-centered leadership style with a strong focus on operational discipline, accountability, continuous improvement, and measurable business performance. At CompSci, she focuses on strengthening the client experience and building scalable delivery practices that enable teams to navigate complex technology initiatives, solve meaningful business problems, and create lasting value for clients and the organization.

Outside of work, Leslie enjoys live music, travel, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a passionate supporter and volunteer with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Jimmy Davis leads CompSci's growth strategy, new business development, client expansion, and market intelligence. He guides clients from first conversation and contract development through solution delivery, working with CompSci's executive and engineering leadership to connect each client's business ambitions with the firm's technology consulting and software delivery capabilities.

Jimmy joined CompSci as Vice President of Client Service, where he managed the firm's strategic relationships and oversaw client delivery health across active engagements. He helped implement CompSci's client delivery methodology — creating a more robust and accountable platform — surfaced and resolved risks, aligned business and engineering teams, and opened expansion opportunities within existing accounts. The firm posted double-digit growth across both professional staff headcount and revenue during his tenure. Before joining CompSci, Jimmy spent over 30 years in management consulting, technology enablement, and change management focused on the intersection of customer experience and digital transformation. His experience spans consulting and industry roles at global firms like PricewaterhouseCoopers and EDS, as well as boutique consulting firms, where he built and managed cross-functional teams serving clients from early-stage startups to Fortune 100 enterprises.

Jimmy holds a B.S. from Baylor University. Outside of work, he serves on numerous civic and charitable boards, including The Dallas Police Foundation, is an active member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, and sits on the State Fair of Texas Board's Youth Scholarship Committee.

Nic Logan brings experience as an entrepreneur, operator, and finance leader focused on building the foundations that enable businesses to scale. Throughout his career, Nic has built and scaled businesses across technology and consumer industries. His experience ranges from supporting the North American expansion of the Ferrari Store retail concept to co-founding Dallas-based Glass-Media, where as Chief Operating Officer he helped build the company into a profitable, nationally deployed technology business serving brands including Estée Lauder, Fossil, and Neiman Marcus. His responsibilities have spanned capital formation, governance, financial strategy, operations, and the organizational capabilities required to scale.

Nic approaches finance as an operator, emphasizing clarity, informed decision-making, and the financial discipline needed to turn business opportunity into sustainable success. At CompSci, he brings that perspective to building a finance and operating function that keeps pace with the company's ambitions. His priorities center on strengthening the systems behind its growth, creating greater visibility into business performance and market dynamics, and maintaining the financial flexibility to pursue both organic growth and strategic opportunities. Ultimately, his focus is on building a stronger, more capable company without losing the qualities that made its growth possible.

Outside of work, Nic enjoys spending time with his wife, their growing family, and two dogs. He is also a longtime automotive and motorsports enthusiast.
